WHAT IS MORPHEUS8?
Morpheus8 is a non-surgical minimally invasive skin tightening and rejuvenation treatment that uses micro-needling and fractional radiofrequency (RF) to stimulate collagen production in the treatment area. Eventually, the body will begin to create more collagen in the treatment area, resulting in the reduction of fine lines, wrinkles, sagging skin, acne scars, stretch marks and even uneven skin tone. This procedure is usually done for the face and neck but can be administered to other areas of the body.
Before the treatment begins, the aesthetician will administer numbing cream to the treatment area to minimise discomfort. The aesthetician will then bring in the Morpheus8 device and place the device on each part of the treatment area. The procedure usually lasts about an hour when addressing the face and neck, but could take longer for larger areas. You will likely be advised to undergo several procedures, depending on your skin condition.
